Director 360: Pre-launch email

The pre-communication for the Director 360 process, sent by the Chair or Process Leader, introduces the process and outlines participant expectations.

Dear [Directors],

We are about to launch a Director 360 process for [Organisation], using BoardOutlook. 

BoardOutlook offers a secure and confidential platform with proven questions and frameworks. The software is accessible online via a computer, tablet, or phone.

Director 360  details:

  • The Director 360 process a review of the behaviours and capability of each individual Director from fellow Board members. 
  • Time Commitment: Please allow 5 - 10 minutes per director reviewed to complete the diagnostics, including your own self assessment. 
  • Reporting: The output of the diagnostic is an online report with the results of your own Director 360, which [I/the Chair] will debrief privately with you in a one-on-one development discussion. 
  • Anonymity: All responses through this process are anonymous and will be reported on a nameless basis. Your report will contain only the results of your own 360.
  • Flexibility: Your answers will automatically save every 30 seconds as long as you’re connected to the internet. 

The process will commence on [Target Date], and you can expect to receive an invitation email from BoardOutlook at this time. Once live, you’ll have [two] weeks to complete the diagnostic.
